I studied fascia and the musculoskeletal system, kinesiology, neurology, immune health, nutrition, and more. I love learning about our intricate bodies, minds, and relationships. Through providing Massage Therapy since 2003 and Personal Training since 2020, I help you cultivate the change you're working on. I mindfully address you as a whole being, and will help you rejuvenate, renew, and strengthen. I am also an Ordained Minister and have had the deep honor of aiding in the caring of some clients and their loved ones through their final living days.
Each session is uniquely designed, and may combine bodywork with guided movement, breathwork, and/or sounding practices. A deeper healing occurs as I am truly present with you, bearing witness, and encouraging you.
Through massage and lifestyle coaching, here is some of what I can help with:
I trained and later taught at the renowned IPSB of San Diego, CA. My training began in early 2003 and after nearly 20 years in this field, I now mindfully blend techniques to address you, my dear client, as a whole being. I can work deep into the fascia, releasing trauma-holding neuropeptides and support your emotional journey that you may endeavor through memory or emotion. I do passive joint movement as Sensory Repatterning to allow your proprioceptors (nerve endings in your joints) feel that it's safe to move with a full, free range of motion. I work with lymph and blood to aide their circulatory processes. I touch your heart by truly being present, bearing witness, holding you accountable, and cheering you on. Specializing in working with women, I have studied deeply our cyclical processes and structural uniqueness so that I can provide the best care.
My mentor, Diana Panara (pictured here), studied with Peter Levine and discovered how trauma is stored in connective tissue (fascia). Diana went on to form Relational Somatics: hands-on techniques, movement practices, and rituals to release the tension held within our bodies.

Being a somatic practitioner has taught me how to create and coach you through a lifestyle of practices that enhance our connection with Self and others, and help us celebrate, release, and transform.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy addresses the brain, spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid, and cranium, spine, and sacrum. As client, you remain fully clothed, while Megan uses gentle and noninvasive hands-on techniques, offers guided breathwork, imagery, and/or silent presence and focus. This slow and still modality allows the fluid and membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord to clear, and flow smoothly. When this happens, nerve messages can be communicated between body and brain more smoothly and we have more capacity to think clearly and have less stress in our nervous systems. When given a safe space through connection and presence, we can return to our natural state of health and balance. Craniosacral Therapy can be provided alone, or integrated with other modalities of bodywork providing moments of stillness to integrate and reflect.

Massage for children varies not just because their bodies are smaller, but they are also different developmentally, cognitively, and in the ways they communicate. Your child grants permission to be touched which teaches empowerment and consent. Further, they dictate pace and pressure throughout the session. Parent involvement is encouraged and will strengthen the bond with your child!
Sessions with kids often involve gait assessments and modifications. These portions can be offered virtually.
I've been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2004.
